Custom Dressed Seven-Day Candle
Fixed, Dressed & Spiritually Prepared
A seven-day vigil candle is a sustained form of ritual work designed to hold a particular intention over a period of time.
Glass vigil candles are commonly used within conjure, folk-Catholic, devotional and other spiritually structured practices, where prayer, petition and repeated attention form part of the work.
At Wax Spiritual, each custom candle is prepared individually for the person and intention it has been commissioned for.
This is not simply a scented or decorative candle.
The candle is spiritually cleansed, fixed and dressed using appropriate condition oils, herbs, roots, powders and other ritual materials selected according to the purpose of the work. A personalised petition and, where appropriate, additional spiritual elements may also form part of its preparation.
The candle is then prayed over and spiritually prepared in-store before being supplied with a personalised written guide explaining how to carry out the work.
You provide the situation and intention. I determine how the candle should be prepared.
What Can a Seven-Day Candle Support?
Seven-day candles are particularly useful where an intention benefits from sustained attention rather than a single moment of ritual action.
Protection & Spiritual Shielding
Protection candles may be prepared to strengthen boundaries, guard against unwanted influence and provide spiritual support during periods of conflict, vulnerability or pressure.
Depending on the circumstances, the work may focus on shielding, strengthening, clearing or maintaining protection already in place.
Cleansing & Uncrossing
Where circumstances feel stagnant, heavy or repeatedly disrupted, a candle may be prepared to support cleansing, uncrossing and the removal of unwanted spiritual residue.
This does not automatically mean that a person has been spiritually attacked or crossed. Where the cause of a problem is unclear, a Spiritual Consultation may be more appropriate before work is undertaken.
Court & Justice Support
Seven-day candles have a long history of use within court and justice work and may be prepared to support clarity, fair consideration, confidence, protection, favourable communication and the ability to present yourself effectively.
A single candle, however, is not necessarily the same as complete court work.
Complex or ongoing cases may involve several hearings, different decision-makers and changing circumstances. Where you are seeking a specific legal outcome, or your case involves several professionals or stages, I may recommend a Spiritual Consultation & Spellwork Assessment before undertaking further work.
Court-specific ritual work may need to be timed around individual hearings and prepared alongside the development of the case itself.
Road Opening & Opportunity
Road-opening candles are used where progress has become blocked, or opportunities repeatedly fail to develop.
The work may focus on removing obstacles, creating movement and opening the conditions needed for employment, business, housing, personal direction or another opportunity to develop.
Prosperity & Financial Stability
A candle may be prepared to strengthen opportunities for money, business growth, employment, recognition or greater financial stability.
Prosperity work is intended to support opportunity and movement alongside practical action rather than replace it.
Confidence, Authority & Personal Strength
These candles may support confidence, courage, visibility, stronger boundaries and personal authority.
They can be particularly useful when someone needs to advocate for themselves, speak clearly, remain composed under pressure or stop allowing other people to dictate their direction.
Love, Reconciliation & Relationship Support
Relationship candles may be prepared to encourage communication, emotional openness, reconciliation or the strengthening of an existing connection.
Each request is considered individually.
I do not undertake work intended to force affection, compel someone to remain in a relationship or remove another person’s ability to choose freely.
Cutting Ties & Emotional Release
Not all work is about drawing something towards you.
A candle may also support closure, emotional detachment, stronger boundaries and release from a relationship, circumstance or repeating pattern that you no longer wish to carry.
Communication & Understanding
Where communication has become blocked, strained or confused, candle work may focus on encouraging clearer expression, receptiveness and constructive conversation.
This is different from compelling someone to say or do something against their will.
Stabilising Difficult Circumstances
Some situations are not solved through attraction or removal alone.
A seven-day candle may be prepared to support stability, clarity, resilience and consistency while a longer situation is being worked through.
If the circumstances involve several people, substantial history or multiple connected problems, assessment may be recommended before work begins.
Choosing Your Candle
There are two ways to commission a custom seven-day candle.
Candle + Personalised Guide
Choose this option when you already understand what you would like the candle to support.
You explain the situation, who the work concerns and the intention you would like to work towards. I then determine the appropriate formulation and prepare the candle.
Your order includes:
- bespoke spiritual preparation
- appropriate herbs, roots, powders and condition oils
- fixing, dressing and prayer
- a personalised written guide
- petition guidance
- instructions for working the candle safely and consistently
- any specific prayers, Psalms or spiritual recommendations I consider appropriate to the work
This option does not include a wider divination assessment of the situation.
Candle + Focused Divination & Personalised Guide
This includes everything above, with a focused divination reading undertaken before the candle is prepared.
The reading is specifically used to determine what the candle needs to address, strengthen, release, protect or support and to guide the spiritual direction of the work.
Your personalised guide will include a written interpretation explaining what came through and how that information shaped the candle.
Focused Divination is not a full investigation of a complicated situation.

Spiritual Consultation & Spellwork Assessment
You do not need to know which spiritual product you need before booking a consultation.
A Spiritual Consultation & Spellwork Assessment is intended for situations that need to be understood before the appropriate work can be determined.
Following a private consultation, I undertake a more detailed divination assessment and provide written guidance and recommendations.
I may recommend existing products, bespoke ritual items, work undertaken by me, practical action alongside spiritual work, or no additional spiritual work at that time.
Any products or additional work recommended following the assessment are priced separately and entirely optional.
Working Your Seven-Day Candle
Your personalised guide will explain how your particular candle should be worked.
Depending on the intention, this may involve:
- a written petition
- prayer or Psalms
- spoken affirmations or petitions
- offerings
- ancestor or devotional work
- specific timing
- complementary ritual items
You do not need to work within a particular religious tradition unless that forms part of your own practice.
Where appropriate, I can structure the instructions around your existing spiritual or religious framework.
Consistency is important, but safety always comes first.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. If you need to leave the room, go to sleep or cannot safely supervise the candle, extinguish it and resume the work when you are able to remain present.
Extinguishing a candle for safety does not invalidate the work.
Reading the Burn
The way a vigil candle burns can sometimes provide useful information about the progress of the work.
Your guide may explain relevant signs such as the condition of the glass, remaining wax, flame behaviour or the way ritual materials have moved during the burn.
Not every variation is spiritually significant. Wick length, drafts, room temperature, candle manufacture and other physical factors can also affect how a candle burns.
I therefore recommend interpreting the candle within the wider context of the work rather than treating every physical change as an omen.
What Information Should I Provide?
When ordering, please explain:
- what is happening
- who the work concerns
- what you would like the candle to support
- any circumstances that may materially affect the work
You do not need to select the herbs, oils, colour or spiritual correspondences yourself.
These form part of the preparation and are determined according to the work.
Please provide a working email address so I can contact you if clarification is needed before preparation begins.
All information is treated confidentially.
Preparation & Timing
Some candle work may need to begin on a particular day or be prepared according to specific spiritual, devotional or planetary timing.
For this reason, custom work cannot always be rushed.
Please allow sufficient time for preparation, particularly if your request relates to an upcoming event, hearing, appointment or significant date.
If your work is time-sensitive, include the relevant dates when ordering.
Each candle is prepared individually and may differ from photographs shown on the website.
Candle Safety
Custom dressed candles contain oils, herbs and other ritual materials and must be treated as an active flame.
Always:
- place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface
- keep it away from curtains, paper, clothing and other flammable objects
- keep it away from children and animals
- avoid drafts
- trim or remove excess loose botanical material if instructed
- never move the candle while lit
- never leave a burning candle unattended
If the flame becomes unusually large, the glass becomes excessively hot, or the candle appears unsafe, extinguish it immediately.
Your safety takes priority over completing a spiritual working uninterrupted.
Ethical & Confidential Practice
Every request is considered individually.
I do not automatically accept all forms of spiritual work and may decline, adapt or redirect a request where another approach would be more appropriate.
I do not undertake work intended solely to cause harm, create fear-based dependency or remove another person’s ability to make their own choices.
Your personal information, petition, reading and written guide remain confidential and are not shared as examples of client work.
There is no expectation of additional payments, offerings or future purchases once your candle has been prepared.
All written material supplied with custom work is for the recipient’s personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without permission.
Custom candles are made specifically for the person and intention supplied and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable once preparation has begun.
