Events, Classes & Workshops at Wax Spiritual, Colchester

Events at Wax Spiritual are intentionally limited and carefully curated. The shop hosts a small number of gatherings each year that reflect the ethos, pace, and integrity of the space, prioritising depth, relevance, and thoughtful exchange over frequency or scale.

Wax Spiritual hosts a small number of in-house events and selectively collaborates with invited partners. We do not operate as an open hire or general workshop space.

In-House Events

In-house events are conceived, shaped, and held by Wax Spiritual. These gatherings are designed to sit naturally within the rhythm of the shop and may take the form of talks, discussion-led evenings, intimate workshops, or cultural and creative explorations.

Attendance is intentionally limited, and events are not scheduled to run continuously. Each offering is curated to feel considered, grounded, and aligned with the work carried out in the space.

Partnered Events

On occasion, Wax Spiritual collaborates with invited partners whose work aligns closely with the values and boundaries of the shop. These collaborations are selective and by invitation only.

A partnered event is a shared offering, shaped collaboratively and held to the same standards as in-house work. Financial arrangements reflect shared responsibility and contribution, rather than venue hire or promotional support.

Collaborations are considered selectively. Any proposed event must be professionally outlined, concept-led, and clearly aligned with the Wax Spiritual ethos and audience. We do not offer venue hire or open submission opportunities.
