Wax Spiritual is a working spiritual space in Colchester, shaped by practice, intention, and lived experience. It is not simply a shop, but an environment where spiritual work is present, ongoing, and reflected in everything that sits within it.
We understand that many people feel drawn to work with Wax Spiritual, whether through employment, offering services, or supplying products. That interest is valued. At the same time, involvement with the space is not based on a CV alone, but on alignment, presence, and how someone naturally fits within the environment.

While Wax Spiritual welcomes people from a range of spiritual backgrounds, the space itself has a clear identity and way of working. It is important to understand what is held here, and what is not, so that your application reflects a genuine alignment rather than a general interest in spirituality.
Opportunities here are approached with care. Roles are not created to fill space, and the shop does not operate as a room-hire model. Those offering services become part of the wider structure of Wax Spiritual, working alongside the space rather than separately from it.

Vacancies
Vacancies at Wax Spiritual are infrequent and arise when there is a clear need within the space.
Those who work here tend to be grounded, aware, and able to move within an environment that is both customer-facing and spiritually led. The role is not simply retail-based, it involves presence, care, and an understanding of the space as a whole.

Spiritual Practitioners & Readers
Wax Spiritual works with a small number of practitioners offering readings and spiritual services within the space.
This is not a room-hire model. Practitioners become part of the wider structure of the shop, working alongside the space rather than independently from it.
The current team reflects the core services offered at Wax Spiritual. We are not actively looking to duplicate existing work, however, we remain open to those who feel they bring something aligned and considered.
Any practitioner joining Wax Spiritual would do so as part of the existing team, working within the rhythm and structure already in place.

Stockists / Suppliers
All products stocked at Wax Spiritual are selected with care and must align with the nature, atmosphere, and direction of the space.
We work with a small number of suppliers and do not operate as an open retail platform. Products are considered based on quality, presentation, and how they sit within the environment.
We are not actively sourcing new suppliers; however, we remain open to products that feel aligned and considered.
