Description
The Ouija Board – Salem Edition is a collector’s treasure steeped in the shadowed history of Salem, Massachusetts, known worldwide as the Witch City. Imported from the United States, this limited-edition board captures the spirit of the original Mystifying Oracle while weaving in sepia-toned imagery from the historic landmarks of Salem’s storied past. Featuring the House of the Seven Gables, the Custom House, and scenes reminiscent of the 1692 witch trials, the design evokes the deep cultural and spiritual roots of American occultism.
Unlike the standard Ouija board, this edition is both a working divinatory tool and a visual homage to Salem’s legacy. Its vintage-style planchette and weathered finish make it ideal for practitioners who value the merging of artefact and ritual. Traditionally, the Ouija board is used by two or more participants who place their fingers lightly on the planchette to invite communication from spiritual energies. It is believed that the planchette moves to reveal letters, numbers, or words that form messages from beyond the veil.
Because this tool serves as an energetic gateway, it is essential to use it with intention and respect. Begin each session by spiritually cleansing your space using incense or Florida Water, then open with a prayer or protective invocation aligned with your belief system. Always close the session by moving the planchette to “Goodbye” to symbolically seal communication.
In metaphysical contexts, the Ouija board corresponds with the throat and crown chakras, amplifying intuition and communication between realms. It is sometimes associated with Mercury, the planetary force of messages, intellect, and unseen currents.
At Wax Spiritual, this Salem Edition is a limited collector’s item—we hold only one. Whether displayed as an object of occult history or used ceremonially, it stands as both a conversation piece and a respectful nod to the enduring fascination with Salem’s mystical heritage.
