Clarity Candle
A hand-carved and dressed ritual candle prepared in-store at Wax Spiritual. Each candle is individually carved and dressed with a blend of botanicals, roots, powders, and condition oils traditionally associated with clarity, truth, and honest understanding.
Within many spiritual traditions, clarity work is believed to support seeing a situation as it is, rather than as it has been presented or perceived. It is often used when something feels unclear, when communication lacks honesty, or when there is a sense that more is going on beneath the surface than has been acknowledged.
This is not work that creates an outcome, but work that allows truth to become visible. It can bring a clearer perspective, support direct conversations, and reveal details that may have been overlooked, avoided, or withheld.
The carved structure of the candle allows the work to unfold gradually as it burns. The oils, herbs, and powders are activated over time, supporting a steady process of awareness rather than a sudden or forced shift. The gold detailing within the carving reflects illumination, representing the act of bringing something into view.
The removable inner candle allows for more direct personal work. The candle can be taken out and carved with names, keywords, or phrases connected to the situation. This may include your own name, the name of another person, or both, depending on the focus of the work.

How to use
- Cleanse your space using Florida Water, rosemary, or gentle smoke.
- Write a clear petition stating what you are seeking to understand. Keep it grounded and specific, focusing on clarity rather than assumptions. Fold the paper towards you and place it beneath the candle.
- If aligned with your practice, lightly dress the petition with a suitable oil linked to clarity or truthful communication.
- Light during a waxing moon to support unfolding awareness, or on a Wednesday for communication and understanding.
- As the candle burns, focus on gaining a clear and honest view of the situation, allowing truth to surface naturally.
