Join us for an immersive Samhain gathering, blending history, ritual, and magickal practice as we step into the season of shadow and renewal.
In this workshop we will explore:
- Samhain Origins – the ancient roots of this seasonal festival and how it continues to be celebrated today.
- Ancestor Worship & Honouring the Dead – practices for connecting with and paying respect to those who have passed.
- Cord Cutting Ritual – a guided release ceremony for letting go of attachments that no longer serve, with your own ritual kit (including a crystal) to continue the practice at home.
- Associated Deities – discussion of spirits and deities linked to Samhain, such as Hekate, and their roles in transformation and threshold work.
- The Importance of Endings – reflecting on closure, transition, and the spiritual power of letting go.
This is a space of learning, reflection, and ritual, open to all who feel called to honour the turning of the year.
Spaces are limited, and these sessions tend to fill up quickly, so early booking is strongly recommended.

Step into the liminal space of Samhain, a hinge of the year, opening the way to honour what has been and to step into what is to come. This immersive workshop invites you to explore the origins, practices, and transformative power of this ancient festival through ritual, meditation, and hands-on experience.
Samhain marks both a closing and a beginning: the final harvest, a time of remembrance, and the threshold into the dark half of the year. In this two-hour session, you’ll be invited to reflect on your own transitions, connect with ancestral wisdom, and engage in practices of release and renewal guided by Biancha.
• A guided meditation for ancestral connection and release
• Teachings on the origins of Samhain and its enduring role in spiritual traditions
• Practices of ancestor honouring and ways to build relationships with the dead
• Exploration of deities and spirits associated with this season, such as Hekate
• Cord-cutting ritual with a take-home kit, including a crystal, to continue your work in your own space

Biancha is an eclectic Witch and the driving force behind Sensual Sorcery. She organises the Colchester Pagan Moot and hosts The Sensual Sorcery Podcast, where she delves into the synergy between spiritual and sensual exploration. She is a qualified and insurable crystal therapist and a nominated High Priestess within a progressive Wiccan coven. Her practice blends ceremonial and folk magick, drawing from traditions such as Wicca and Western Esoteric practices. As a coven leader, Biancha has taken on High Priestess responsibilities, including guiding rituals and supporting a coven, and brings this lived experience into her teaching.
Her workshops explore elemental forces, lunar cycles, and ritual practice as foundations for personal empowerment. Each session weaves together deep connection, ritual correspondences, practical teachings, and seasonal practices while offering techniques that participants can use at home. Expect a hands-on approach grounded in tradition, with accessible tools and thoughtful insight into the deeper meanings behind the magick.
