Description
Opoponax Resin Incense, often referred to as “sweet myrrh,” is a prized resin in spiritual and magical traditions around the world. Known for its rich, earthy fragrance, Opoponax is deeply grounding and is frequently used for protection, banishing negativity, and enhancing psychic clarity. With a history stretching back to ancient cultures, it has been a favourite in ceremonies for purification and spiritual protection.
Traditionally burned during rituals to create a sacred space, Opoponax helps to ward off harmful energies and is said to create a protective shield around the practitioner. Its powerful scent is also used in meditation and divination, aiding in grounding the body and mind, while promoting a deeper spiritual connection.
To use, sprinkle a small amount of Opoponax Resin on a lit charcoal disk placed in a heat-safe burner. The rising smoke can help you create a boundary of protection, clear away lingering negative energies, or enhance your spiritual practice by promoting a deeper state of focus and tranquillity.
