Magickal Doll – Red
Passion • Strength • Urgency • Fiery Protection
Magickal poppets, also known as spirit dolls or Voodoo dolls, have long been part of folk magick and ancestral traditions across many cultures. Handmade in-store at Wax Spiritual, each poppet is carefully sewn and filled with traditional materials that enhance its spiritual power. The Red Magickal Doll Baby channels fiery, active energy — ideal for love, attraction, courage, urgent workings, or protective rites that call for immediate action.
Each doll is filled with Spanish moss, a classic material in rootwork and conjure practices. Within spiritual communities, Spanish moss is believed to absorb and hold spiritual energy, acting as a conduit between the physical and unseen realms. Depending on your purpose, additional herbs, roots, or symbolic items can be added: rose petals or cinnamon for love, ginger or chilli for confidence and drive, or dragon’s blood resin and cayenne for fiery protection.
Red poppets work through sympathetic magick — the principle of “like attracts like” — allowing the doll to represent a person, desire, or condition. Energy directed toward the doll influences the target or situation it symbolises. These dolls are particularly suited to passionate, dynamic, or time-sensitive spellwork, when energy must move quickly or with great force.
In conjure, red energy is often linked with Mars — a current of courage, protection, and assertion. This makes the Red Magickal Doll Baby equally potent for attraction and for defence, ensuring your energy burns bright but steady.
To Work With:
Cleanse the doll with smoke, prayer, or Florida Water before use. Dress with appropriate oils such as Love, Fire of Passion, or Fiery Wall of Protection. Add herbs roots, and powders, a petition, name paper, or taglock by placing under its wrapping, and speak your intention clearly. The doll may be kept on your altar, placed near a burning candle, or stored in a charm box to maintain its vitality.
Each Red Magickal Doll Baby from Wax Spiritual is a handmade ritual ally, crafted with cultural awareness and spiritual integrity. It embodies the life force of fire — to protect, attract, and ignite transformation where it’s needed most.
