Handmade in Glastonbury • Ritual Use • Heat Resistant

This Small Incense Censer is a beautifully handcrafted piece made in Glastonbury, England, designed to hold incense, charcoal, or a tea light safely and elegantly during ritual, meditation, or prayer. With its earthy terracotta exterior and deep navy glazed bowl, this censer perfectly blends traditional craftsmanship with spiritual functionality, creating a grounded yet refined altar tool.

Each censer is shaped by hand, giving it a natural, tactile quality that reflects its artisanal origin. The terracotta base retains and distributes heat effectively, making it suitable for incense offerings, resin burning, or use as a candle holder. The inner bowl, glazed for durability, protects the vessel from direct flame and residue. When burning charcoal or resins, it is recommended to fill the bowl at least one-third with sand to absorb heat and extend the life of the censer.

In spiritual practice, censers are traditionally used to purify energy and create sacred space. The smoke from incense or resin is believed to carry prayers and intentions into the unseen realms while cleansing the surrounding atmosphere. Whether used for daily meditation, moon rituals, ancestral offerings, or quiet moments of reflection, this censer offers both practicality and spiritual depth.

Compact yet substantial, its warm earthen tones and smooth glaze make it a timeless piece for any altar, ritual table, or home setting. As each one is handmade, slight variations in colour and texture are natural and contribute to its unique character.

Dimensions:
Height: approximately 6.5 cm
Width: approximately 10 cm

Usage Tip:
Add a layer of fine sand before lighting charcoal or resin to safely diffuse heat and preserve the glaze.
