Wax Spiritual draws from African-derived and Caribbean-linked spiritual traditions, alongside folk practices, astrology, and ancestral remembrance. These influences are held with care and cultural awareness, recognising that spiritual practice is inherited, lived, and relational.

The work here does not sit within a single label or system. Instead, it reflects a way of working that honours ancestral lineage and spiritual practice without being confined to a single system, while allowing individuals to approach their own path with autonomy and discernment.

The Space

Wax Spiritual is a place of spiritual work, expressed through a physical space.

Ritual tools, candles, oils, and spiritual items are prepared with intention and respect for their purpose. These are not decorative objects, but functional tools that sit in direct relationship to the work carried out within the space.

The shop altar is a working altar. It is used for private ritual and client petitions and is not a display or an attraction. It is not to be touched or photographed. This boundary is essential to how the space is held.

Offerings

At its core, Wax Spiritual is a place of spiritual work. Tarot readings, astrology sessions, and other services are delivered by trusted practitioners whose work aligns with the ethos of the space.

Custom spiritual work is also undertaken, including dressed and prepared candles, oils, talismans, and bespoke ritual pieces, created as part of an ongoing relationship rather than a transaction.

The space also holds a curated range of spiritual tools, books, and ritual supplies selected to support a wide spectrum of practices. These include works on astrology, folklore, African spirituality, and self-development, alongside religious items and ceremonial tools. Each item is selected and held within the context of real practice.

Wax Spiritual is owned and stewarded by Sareta Fontaine, spiritual practitioner and founder. Her role is to hold the standards, boundaries, and spiritual integrity of the space, ensuring that the work carried out here remains intentional, respectful, and aligned.
