Samhain Ritual Candle – Limited Edition Dressed & Blessed at Wax Spiritual
Samhain Ritual Candle is a limited-edition seasonal candle, prepared with botanicals and conjure oils at Wax Spiritual in Colchester. Created for ancestral remembrance, harvest gratitude and personal reflection, it offers a focal point for observing Samhain and marking the transition into the darker half of the year.
What Is Samhain?
Samhain is a traditional Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Historically associated with seasonal transition, it remains an important observance within many contemporary Pagan and witchcraft traditions.
For some, Samhain is a time to honour the dead and acknowledge the ancestors. For others, it provides an opportunity to reflect on the year, recognise what has come to an end and consider what they wish to carry forward.
It is also a natural point for divination, reflection and spiritual preparation. As the growing season draws to a close, attention turns towards what has been gathered, what has been learned and what may need to be released.
About Our Samhain Ritual Candle
Each Samhain Ritual Candle is dressed with a selected blend of botanicals and conjure oils, bringing together a warm, smoky botanical character suited to the season.
The candle features our vintage-inspired raven illustration, reflecting themes of remembrance, transition and the unknown. Its parchment-style label carries an affirmation for the season:
At Samhain, I honour those who have passed, give thanks for the harvest, and release what has reached its end. May wisdom guide me into the new year.
Prepared and blessed at Wax Spiritual, this candle can be incorporated into an existing seasonal practice or used as the starting point for a simple personal observance.
Working with Your Samhain Candle
You may wish to place your candle on an ancestral altar, within your ritual space or somewhere suitable for quiet reflection.
Light it while remembering departed loved ones, acknowledging family and ancestral connections, or giving thanks for those whose lives and experiences have shaped your own. Photographs, personal objects and offerings may be incorporated according to your practice.
The candle can also be used during tarot readings, other forms of divination or personal reflection. Consider what the past year has brought, which experiences have shaped you, and what you are ready to leave behind as you approach the next.
There is no requirement to perform an elaborate ritual or follow a prescribed number of days. You may choose to work with the candle during your Samhain observance or return to it over several sessions, allowing your intentions and practice to guide you.
Whether used for ancestral remembrance, gratitude, divination or the marking of a personal transition, the Samhain Ritual Candle offers a space to acknowledge the past before turning towards what comes next.
